Interpretation of the saying of the Most High: “Should we help us with the first creation? Nay, they are in confusion of a new creation.” Tafsir Al-Sa’di: We are oppressed by the first creation, but they are in confusion from the Then the Almighty referred the first creation - which is the first origin - to the other creation, which is the afterlife. Just as He who created them after non-existence, He also brings them back after their death and their becoming to [the remains] and the restoration, so He said: Are we afflicted, meaning: Are we incapable and our ability weakened by the first creation? It is not like that, we were not unable and aware of that, and they are not in doubt about that, rather they are confused by this new creation about which they doubted, and they were confused about it, although there is no place for ambiguity in it, because repeating is easier than starting, as the Almighty said: And it is He who initiates creation, then repeats it, which is easier for him..... تفسير قوله تعالي ﴿ أَفَعَيِينَا بِالْخَلْقِ الْأَوَّلِ ۚ بَلْ هُمْ فِي لَبْسٍ مِّنْ خَلْقٍ جَدِيدٍ﴾تفسير السعدي : أفعيينا بالخلق الأول بل هم في لبس من ثم استدل تعالى بالخلق الأول -وهو المنشأ الأول - على الخلق الآخر، وهو النشأة الآخرة. فكما أنه الذي أوجدهم بعد العدم، كذلك يعيدهم بعد موتهم وصيرورتهم إلى [الرفات] والرمم، فقال: أَفَعَيِينَا أي: أفعجزنا وضعفت قدرتنا بِالْخَلْقِ الْأَوَّلِ ؟ ليس الأمر كذلك، فلم نعجز ونعي عن ذلك، وليسوا في شك من ذلك، وإنما هم في لبس من خلق جديد هذا الذي شكوا فيه، والتبس عليهم أمره، مع أنه لا محل للبس فيه، لأن الإعادة، أهون من الابتداء كما قال تعالى: وَهُوَ الَّذِي يَبْدَأُ الْخَلْقَ ثُمَّ يُعِيدُهُ وَهُوَ أَهْوَنُ عَلَيْهِ
