But I still think he is the GOAT, for not just his game, but also for his demeanor, id="hidden9" class="buttons"> ability to bounce back from tough losses and continue to press on, and still not break racquets or pull out his hair in frustration. Would love for these two to be #1 and #2 all-time. (Sorry Nadal fans). ....وسعت65

@
@jdbaesمنذ 4 سنواتRoger Federer is a magnificent player and an all-time great and without question deserves to be on the short list of the GOAT discussion. I understand id="hidden14" class="buttons"> his personality and on-court elegance have made him a fan favorite but I have never seen anything like his popularity : they rooted for him against Sampras and they root for him 20 years later against Novak, Rafa, everybody. He ALWAYS has the complete fan support , especially at Wimbledon. BUT although he comes off as gracious in defeat , he always seems to hint at a problem or excuse when he loses . Novak has beaten him in 3 straight Wimbledon finals even though almost EVERYONE was rooting passionately for Roger. Last year’s Wimbledon final’s crowd was so biased that it seemed like a US-Mexico World Cup qualifier played in Mexico City. I wonder what Roger would say if he played and everyone was rooting against him the way they root against Novak . I think he would complain it was unfair and be vocal about it. But Novak , while puzzled by his lack of most fan support despite playing a very pleasing style and generally being a good sport with a fantastic sense of humor, doesn’t complain but has dominated Roger the past 10 years and wins most of the time despite being the “visiting team”. Combine that with both Novak and Rafa having winning records over Roger, I don’t see how Federer’s legion of fans can call him the GOAT as if it is a no-brainer. He’ s right there, but his popularity clouds the objective logic. ....وسعت

@randomcon123منذ 3 سنواتFederer and Djokovic are like Messi and Ronaldo of tennis…. one is the technical maestro and the other is a complete war machine. Each to their own… nadal doesn’t even come close… Nadal is more like ummm Riquelme… there are qualities that make him stand out but he isn’t complete… in fact his game is deeply flawed and is only suited to a certain style of play ....وسعت2
