Two performances of an anonymous Coranto, no.21 from the Fitzwilliam Virginal Book. Trinity Grade 5 Piano (2021 - 2023) Trinity Grade 5 (2021 - 2023) - 03 The timing/measure is confusing in this one. At the start a beat is represented by a half-note (minim) whereas in the second part it is represented by a quarter note (crotchet). At the start a beat (minim) = 112; in the second half a beat (crotchet) is 224. This is indicated by the quarter note = quarter note marking. So a quarter note from the first section is the same tempo as a quarter note in the second section. Make sense?
