In 2019, Anna Skaya, founder and CEO of Basepaws, received a $250,000 investment on ABC's “Shark Tank” for its at-home cat DNA test. Robert Herjavec and Kevin O'Leary, investors on the reality show, agreed to a joint investment with each contributing $125,000 in exchange for a 5 percent ownership share each.
