IIT prof's overview of Mechanical Engineering | What are its courses Who should study it

During JOSAA, among the non-circuital Departments, the top choice for students is, arguably, Mechanical Engineering. However, students are not always aware of what they have to study in this Department. Nor do they know very well if they are even suitable for it in the first place! In this video, I address these issues. First I give a broad overview of the various important courses students have to study. Next, I discuss two surprising things which many students are not aware of: in Mechanical Engineering, a lot of the topics are basically applications of Applied Mathematics, and there is a lot of computer programming involved. Finally, I discuss what kind of students are suitable for it.
