How To Clean A Pillow - A Dry Cleaner’s Guide laundry

Bobby Berk recently posted a video about cleaning a pillow, here are a few notes, from a dry cleaner, on how you can improve this cleaning process! 1) Clean the pillow first in your washing machine with the consumables he recommended. However I'd use 1/4 cup of detergent AT MOST. 2 cups is a silly amount. Doing this in the washer will provide a much better clean than soaking as detergent is designed for scrubbing and rubbing, not soaking. 2) Once clean, soak the pillow in hot water and powdered oxygen bleach. Oxygen bleach, or color safe or nonchlroine bleach, creates hydrogen peroxide when it comes in contact with water which brightens and whitens your clothing.
