#MangaloreanChickenGreenMasala How to prepare green masala chicken curry For 1 k.g Chicken Heat 2 tbsp ghee or oil. Add few curry leaves and one finely chopped onion. Fry till it turns brown. Add cleaned medium cut chicken pieces and fry till colour changes. Add one chopped tomato, salt as required, 1/4 tbsp turmeric powder. Stir and cook till chicken is soft and tender in a medium flame. For green masala paste. Dry roast small piece of cinnamon,5 cloves, 1 tbsp coriander seeds, 1/4 tbsp black pepper, 1/4 tbsp methi seeds, 1/4 tbsp fennel, 1/2 tbsp cumin seeds. Heat 2 tbso oil in the same pan add curry leaves, 1 chopped onion, 5 cloves of garlic, 1/4 inch ginger, 10 chopped green chilies and fry till raw aroma goes. Add 1 bunch of chopped coriander leaves and handful of mint leaves and fry till soft. Powder roasted spices and add fried green ingredients and grind fine masala paste by adding curd or yoghurt. Add green masala paste to the cooked chicken. Add water and adjust gravy consistency. Cover and boil the curry in a low flame for about 10 minutes. Chicken will turn soft since curd or yoghurt is added and curry will not curdle or split. Enjoy this delicious mangalorean Green masala chicken curry with rice,idli,dosa, and specially with appam.
