GO OFF!!!! 😍 Come to the salon with me and and watch as I lighten and tone my client's natural hair from dark brown, almost black, to a vibrant and damage-free red/orange/chocolate auburn. 🤎✨ *FILMED-PRE PANDEMIC!* #ColorMeltTechnique #ColorTouchUp #RootRetouch #EasyBalayage #ShadowRoots #RootSmudge #HighlightsAndLowlights #SilkPressColorTreatedHair #SilkPressType4CHair #SalonWork #DIYHairColor #DoItYourselfColor #NYCHairColorist #AffordableHairColor ♡ Watch in HD 1080 | Details below | Non-sponsored♡ Hey friends! 👋🏾 In this video I'm showing my technique to lighten your hair from dark brown to red and auburn using a highlighting, color melt technique that is super easy and quick to do even for beginners. I show you step-by-step how to properly and safely apply highlights and lowlights using foils, how to rotate your colors to create a well-blended color story and how to retouch the roots while the color is processing to create a flawless color melt. I also share with you my shampoo routine that keeps the color healthy and vibrant, how I trim natural and how I silk press color-treated natural hair to avoid damage and breakage. To maintain your hair's integrity, I highly recommend waiting 4-6 weeks in between color services.🤎 "Color Melt is a technique that blends a base color with a color on the ends so that there is a seamless blend or transition between the two colors. Whether you are color melting for gray coverage, to blend the previous color, to add dimension, or to create a vivid color palette, color melting is all about creating a seamless melt of color from roots to ends." - Pravana I realllllllly hope that you enjoy this video, and please stay safe.✨ Thanks for all of the support - it means the world to me! Adore Semi-Permanent Hair Color 30 Ginger 4 oz (Toned Bleached Hair) COLOR CHEAT CODE: 10 volume developer DEPOSITS ONLY; 20 volume LIFTS AND DEPOSITS (good for gray coverage); 30 developer HI-LIFTS AND DEPOSITS (be careful because it processes quickly); 40 volume is used if you want to be bald, LOL, or if you have really resistant hair (I very rarely ever use it and DO NOT recommend it to beginners!) Step 1: Detangle and section hair using color protection leave in. I used Ion's Color Defense Intense Leave In Therapy. Step 2: Mix colors and bleach (with the formulas above) ONLY after sectioning hair for immediate use to avoid oxidation. Step 3: Weave out highlights and lowlights sections, row by row, using a metal tail comb to ensure precision. Step 4: Apply foil to the metal tail and place it as close as possible to the scalp to avoid lines of demarkation and uneven processing. Step 5: Rotate colors per section to create a cohesive blend. Step 6: Process for roughly 30-40 minutes. Then tone bleached areas and color melt roots. Process together for an additional 15-20 minutes. Step 7: Shampoo and condition hair with color retention products. Step 8: Add heat protectant, blow dry and silk press, OR style as desired. ♡Equipment Details♡ Non-sponsored: http://www.amazon.com/shop/janerarose Main Video Camera: Sony A5100 Let's be friends on social media!
