[4K] Jebel Fuwairit Beach Qatar Turtles | Summer 2021

A little video about our morning trip to Jebel Fuwairit beach in Qatar during summer 2021. Jebel Fuwairit Beach Qatar turtles is sitting just a few hundred meters north of the popular Fuwairit Beach. Even on weekends it attracts less crowds than Fuwairit beach to the south. Thus it is a good off-the-beaten-path beach alternative in Qatar. It offers dramatic rock formations, shallow water and is a hot spot for local rock-climbers. This is one of the few places in all of Qatar, that rises up steeply. And even though Jebal means mountain in arabic, Jebel Fuwairit is rather a small rocky hill. It boasts ridges, small cracks and a cliff. Due to erosion, the cliff is overhanging and broken into rocks, that dot the beach. When standing on top of the ridge the view out to the sea is spectacular. The water has deep blue color and the sand is a perfect off-white. Best Time to go to Jebel Fuwairit Beach Seasonally we recommend to go, when outside temperatures do not exceed 35°C during the day. However there are a number of rocks, at which you can find some shadow. Therefore you can also go at hotter days, if you are adventurous and immune to heat. Just remember to take lots of water and head-cover. If you want to go on the weekend, either go early morning, or later in the afternoon/evening. Best way to Jebel Fuwairit Beach From Doha: Drive north on Shamal Highway for about 88 km until you reach the Exit to Ain Sinan / Fuwairit. Up on the bridge take a right turn. Continue until just before you reach the village. Turn left onto the unpaved dry dirt-road. The road with make a very slight right curve leading to Fuwairit beach. Do not drive all the way to the beach. Continue along the dirt-road that leads parallel to the rocky hills in the distance. Continue for 900 metres until you see tracks leading up the hill. The coordinates of a suitable spot to park: 26.044024, 51.362384 Google Maps Park your car at the bottom of the hill and walk up the hill and down again on the other side. There are many different spots. From the top of the hill look out for light turqouise water or light sand. Therefore you will find the best spots for swimming and snorkeling.
