Also some oil like virgin olive oil or avocado oil id="hidden9" class="buttons"> are essential for long term health benefits. Living with family makes it easier since the food is all going to be distributed between the family members, and also the calories. When my cholesterol was too high and I was meal prepping a lot, I always used cooking spray.I changed nothing else and kept making the same recipes using a teaspoon of olive oil and my cholesterol went down by 5% in a month. Anecdotal? Yeah, but it's a little too much of a coincidence for me to ignore. And that is WAY too much oil to cook pretty much anything.
