The Dark Souls games keep sucking me back in. "Song of the Abyss" is a tragic tale of loyalty and inevitable defeat, following the story of Knight Artorias and his great wolf Sif. Once the greatest warrior in the known world, Artorias fails his final mission to stop the spread of the Abyss, falling to its influence and leaving his wolf safely behind under his enchanted shield. Of course we, the player, later find Sif and carry on the legacy of the Wolf Knight despite his defeat.
