Today, Christian reviews two watches from Omega and Longines, courtesy of London Jewelers!
At $5,000 and under, we have a wide variety of watches that can be had that offer tremendous value for money. First up, we have the contemporary Omega Seamaster Diver 300M, introduced in 2018. It's a 42mm dive watch that still wears super well, in part because of the short lug to lug distance, and aided by the rubber strap which helps the lug to lug distance tremendously. We also see the return of the wave dial, here laser engraved into ceramic rather than printed. It retails for $4,900 on the rubber strap.
Next up, we have the Longines Heritage Classic "Sector" dial, a watch that retails for just above $2,000. It's a relatively new release, but one that plays into the historical elements of the brand and does so in a classic, but contemporary way. At 38.5mm, it's a contemporary size as well, smaller but still incredibly wearable which will aid in the watch's overall longevity. A dressy watch, it's also a total strap monster which creates an overwhelming sense of versatility that can't be beat for the price.
