Train accident | Johannesburg-Randfontein route closed

Metrorail train passengers travelling between Johannesburg and Randfontein are advised to make alternative transport arrangements this morning. Trains operating along this route have been suspended as investigations commence to determine the cause of last night's collision involving two trains. One person was killed and five others injured after a Premier Class passenger train collided with a stationary goods train between Roodepoort and Horizon station west of Johannesburg.
