Meet Our Backyard City Homestead Nubian Goats

Here are our backyard city Nubian goats We have two goats "in milk" that have 2 babies each at 1 1/2 months old so they're close to being weaned and making the milk available to our family soon. They have been great goats since I took the one hour drive out to pick them up, they have been quiet and friendly and very playful. For now we just socialize with them and have been getting to know them. We built out a goat pen using pallets to create an enclosure as well as a shack for them to bed in at night. They all seem to enjoy this space and spend most of their days finding comfortable spots to lay in after eating or playing. The pen is on the shade side of the house so half of it always has good shade and also offers them some good sunning spots to lay in. We also built the milking stand using pallet wood and plywood which is right outside the pen ready to help fill our families milk needs, we all can't wait to put it to good use.
