@BM1620منذ 4 سنوات That came out pretty nice, only thing I would have done different is to glue the little strips of walnut vertical at varying lengths to look like an EQ. 24

@michaels2208منذ 4 سنوات You really make me think I could do something of these projects. You make it look easy, but you can't fool me. 60

@robertmiller6426منذ 4 سنوات After 20 years in retail I recently started at a woodwork shop building custom cabinets and built in my skills are getting better cannot wait to try this id="hidden2" class="buttons"> or some of your other projects at home now that I feel more confident in my ability, they seem complicated but not overly so and you do a great job explaining what you are doing ....وسعت 1

@ifiwooddesignsمنذ 4 سنوات Inspiring as always. Just a simple tip, use a reciprocating saw without the blade on the form after pouring concrete to rid of all the bubbles. Works perfect every time. 3

@darkknight9090منذ 4 سنوات I love watching this channel because he keeps pushing the boundaries of creativity. Watching him has made me want to create my own things instead of just going out and buying stuff off the shelf. 2
  • @
@luisg1653منذ 4 سنوات Really cool to see you step out of the norm and work with cement. That came out so nice! 12
  • @
@R1CKYB0BbYمنذ 4 سنوات My wife was like, “Dang. That’s heavy! You could someone with that!” I like it! I like all your builds man! Great job man! 5

@jonathanbullman7058منذ 4 سنوات For Halloween this year I found these cheap plastic Halloween skulls that were hollow. I cut a hole and filled them with Portland cement. They came out great. No I've got some skull door stops for Halloween lol 17

@grahamb7947منذ 4 سنوات Could have added some foam or sponge to the inside of the speaker holes to help dampen reverb from having an industrial sound effect.
Also, yeah, id="hidden6" class="buttons"> adding Qi wireless to the wood paneling would have definitely been a nice addition. Overall, nice job

@keithusace4352منذ 4 سنوات Pam spray cooking oil from the kitchen is a good releasing agent on small craft projects 2
  • @
@TheScaryNameمنذ 4 سنوات You are a true inspiration!
Even though some of the things you use in your projects can't be bought here in Sweden, I really appreciate your id="hidden7" class="buttons"> work.
Please keep it up, and well done!
One note though: instead of poking through that foam, you could have just poured some acetone on it as it will melt styrofoam.

@RyanNiemerمنذ 4 سنوات I dig it. The wooden middle piece looks great and covers up the crack perfectly. Nicely done 1
  • @
@IceMonkey82منذ 4 سنوات Take a jig saw or reciprocating saw and remove the blade then place the base against the form and pull the trigger. This will give you better vibration for working the air bubbles up. 3
  • @
@StreetKingz4Lifeمنذ 4 سنوات That little piece of concrete structure sure would be rockin' hard music 2
  • @
@jonathanbullman7058منذ 4 سنوات I had a project I was planning that requires concrete so I had to do way too much research concrete and cement etc.
    Its an amazing product

@kathybirkett7986منذ 4 سنوات Nice! When I was in the music industry, the studio where I worked redesigned my editing suite. They poured cement speaker stands that acoustically isolated id="hidden9" class="buttons"> the speakers from the building/floor. The difference in the sound of the same speakers before and after was amazing! So, your design will be acoustically isolated too, no matter what you set it on. If you have crappy speakers, they will "speak" in all their crappy glory! :-) However, good speakers benefit from this sort of design.
Too bad about the crack, but an amazing design.

@jonathanbullman7058منذ 4 سنوات If you're using a fast setting cement add a little sugar a d it slows down how quickly the cement sets. Also use ice water instead of just cold water. Both will help lengthen set times 4
  • @
@wizmanballin8498منذ 4 سنوات Neat fun project, but a few holes in the back of the concrete would help for pushing more bass from the speakers. Neat job!! 1
  • @
@jerzisfinest8302منذ 4 سنوات That's super dope. I want to build a Bluetooth retro boom box and those Bluetooth parts are easy and perfect. 1
  • @
@robotman7777منذ 4 سنوات YouTube suggested your channel because I was watching cement creations. You made cement bowls. I was wondering when you would do another one.
I id="hidden11" class="buttons"> love the honesty. Shows that it's doable and mistakes happen. But still looks great.

@rthomp03منذ 4 سنوات Sound quality probably would be better with some foam isolation between the speakers and the concrete, more than just hot glue. But aside from that, I id="hidden12" class="buttons"> love the project. Turned out really nice, and plenty of options for customization in the design. ....وسعت 3

@trevor8701منذ 4 سنوات That’s Sweet, I would make something like this for sure 2
  • @
@quinnreid1209منذ 4 سنوات I love how your builds turn out, but that's an odd looking one. Got character tho! 2
  • @
@TheTalontsمنذ 4 سنوات You have a shop - why vibrate the mold by hand?
Place a jigsaw or reciprocating saw, without blade, up against the mold, and turn it on. A variable id="hidden13" class="buttons"> speed jigsaw is better, as you can spin the speed up and down while moving it across the sides of the mold.

@reforzarمنذ 4 سنوات Love seeing you experiment with all sorts of projects! Keep it up! 1
  • @
@upperhandcustoms11منذ 4 سنوات It wasn’t the imperfections that made it not come out. It was drawing a vacuum below the fittings due to the tight tolerances created. If you drilled a small hole at the bottom of it probably would have come out easily. 1
  • @
@RickofEarthTVمنذ 4 سنوات I really enjoyed this, what an awesome project! Knowing my OCD I would not have been able to go forward with the crack, I would have had to redo it
  • @
@danielbregar5423منذ 4 سنوات Very nice my friend! I love the creativity and level of patience you put into your work.
  • @
@douglasharley2440منذ 4 سنوات nice! you can fill all those cracks with thinned cement, and use a putty knife to force it in. also, waxing the cement might look sweet. peace 3

  • @
@jonathanbullman7058منذ 4 سنوات Also for cracks that appear I've found that if you rub dry cement into the cracks and fill them, then just wet your finger and rub the Crack and smooth id="hidden17" class="buttons"> it out the water will suck up into the cracks and fill them. It's mostly cosmetic and not structural ....وسعت 10

@charlespaxمنذ 4 سنوات A heat gun would work well on softening the PVC parts, so you can pull them out. 1
  • @
@alonsotorres165منذ 4 سنوات To get the air bubbles out and not babysit the project, use a portable speaker like the Google mini. The vibration from the speaker will eliminate the bubbles.
  • @
@catchnote2منذ 4 سنوات Love the videos, any chance we could get a smart mirror with audio tks.
  • @
@wolfman75منذ 4 سنوات Interesting idea!!! Thank You Sir!!!!
  • @
@KeepUpTheFPSمنذ 4 سنوات would be so cool with a wireless charger on the top for your phone 23
  • @
@noreaction1منذ 4 سنوات You need a hole for air to move in and out of behind the speaker if you want more bass
  • @
@BLOODYMISTYTمنذ 4 سنوات Good speakers for gym maniacs. Now you can carry this thing around & workout anytime
  • @
@rfehr613منذ 4 سنوات The cracking is from shrinkage. Adding more water will only weaken the concrete. You shouldn't submerge concrete unless it's designed for underwater id="hidden19" class="buttons"> placement. To prevent cracks, you need more steel reinforcement near the outside surfaces. ....وسعت

@pkoppulaمنذ 3 سنوات I honestly thought this was going to be fixed in the wall. Still a great project as always
  • @
@coreymiller9925منذ 4 سنوات If you drilled out some port holes in the back, wouldn'it be louder and/or give it a deeper sounds? Either way, that little box is pretty cool

  • @
@huntley101888منذ 4 سنوات Does the bluetooth controller module have a battery incorporated into it? It must since there is no other battery. How is the battery life?

@itzzmiddo6134منذ 3 سنوات Love this bro! Why not do some more household projects in the same style? Keep up the great work! From the uk!
  • @
@justicematters5447منذ 3 سنوات just an idea, why not use foam for the speaker holes, that allows you to compromise the holes as well as makes it cheaper to find
  • @
@babakhtمنذ 4 سنوات do you know how close you were to a kickback? The piece you clamped to the fence is way too small 1

@wayward.philosopherمنذ 3 سنوات THIS. IS. SO. COOL. BEAUTIFUL DESIGN! WOW!!!

@benjaminbielefeldtschlagel3670منذ 3 سنوات Love your work! Will it be realistic to hope for some DIY acoustic panels ?
  • @
@weaklingv2منذ 3 سنوات I like the idea bro, you always catch me with your clever hacks and common sense procedures for things. However I would have definitely polished the concrete id="hidden21" class="buttons"> or at least used a sponge and some concrete and filled the cracks. Keep up the good work! ....وسعت
  • @
@Michele-ue5euمنذ 4 سنوات Ehy, I really enjoy your videos, I have been following you for years now I find you carismatic and your videos always make me want to build something myself id="hidden22" class="buttons"> but I have something to say.
Every once in a while you come up with some sort audio project, the thing is more often than not I look at your projects and think "there is no way this sounds fine". Audio design is very hard both to understand and build and I would be lying if came here to say I am an expert, but I think you are skilled enough to put a little more care in your audio projects, there are plenty of designs out there to build a good sounding box without having to pull out the calculator and doing any math.
Please don't take this as a negative comment, because that's the last thing I intended it to be, the point is this took you quite a bit of time to build this box and the results is probably disappointing audio wise, I think it makes a little more sense looking for a pre-made design with part and everything and go wild with the cosmetic aspect of it.
Love your videos, I hope this comment is well recived

  • @
@Soundbrigadeمنذ 3 سنوات Nice build, but have you treated the concrete surface or did I miss that? I am adviced to use soluble glass, but first sand all surfaces to remove "filth" id="hidden23" class="buttons"> from the concrete and that is said to float to the top or to the surface. ....وسعت

  • @
@PeterKornumمنذ 4 سنوات the cracks are probably from the wood expanding in water? 1
  • @
@lukeplayinمنذ 4 سنوات Hey man, the pigment separated because you had too high a speed on your mixer, that happens some time, keep that in mind for the future :) 1
