Pesaha Appam - How to make delicious Chuta Pesaha Appam
Ingredients:
Raw Rice - 2 glass
Urad Dal - 1 glass
coconut - 1 glass
Small Onion - 7 to 8 nos.
Garlic - 3 to 4 nos.
Jeera - 1/2 tablespoon
Coconut cutted into small pieces - 1
Pesaha Appam or Inriyappam or Kurisappam is an unleavened Passover bread eaten by the Saint Thomas Christians of Kerala in India, also known as the Nasrani. It is eaten on the Passover night of Maundy Thursday, and the word Pesaha means Passover. It is a pale, somewhat anemic-looking bread and the main ingredient is rice batter.
