Bidirectional HV Diodes are mostly found in microwave ovens. Bidirectional diodes are composed of two diodes in parallel and opposite to each other. The function of bidirectional high-voltage diode is to protect high voltage transformer & magnetron. Two-way high-voltage diodes are high-voltage diodes on one side and ordinary diodes on the other.
