LISTEN: Mduduzi Manana offers ex-domestic worker ‘consolation’ money to drop the assault charges

During an hour long discussion held under a tree at the Douglasdale police station on Sunday evening, convicted women beater Mduduzi Manana can be heard promising to take care of Christine Wiro, who had just laid charges of crimen injuria, common assault and intimidation. Wiro, 43, withdrew the charges hours later following another meeting with Manana at her Pretoria home in the early hours of Monday morning.
