Captain Dave here with some brief information on the popular Carnada Jig. This jig is highly effective to getting bluefin tuna or yellowfin tuna to bite! The name Carnada is exactly how you would get a tuna to bite. Usually you will sink the lure down to the desired water depth (where the tuna are swimming) and you wait until they bite it. IF not bites, you will reel in the lure to the surface and then let fall AGAIN, until the lure gets bit. Flat fall technique is also known as vertical jig fishing.
