Dominica Beach Adventure, Calibishie Cove | Travel Vlog

Dominica is an island in the Caribbean, not to be confused with the Dominican Republic. This magnificent island is left largely untouched by man, earning a reputation as the Caribbean's 'nature island'. Seeing the lush rainforests and towering volcanos, it's easy to see why. After 3 nights in Dominica, we found ourselves on our last day. I moronically left a pair of sandals in our previous accommodation, over an hour away in a town called Rosalie. Most people may have just left them there but I wasn't prepared to abandon them. I hate wasting things and I decided I could turn this detour into an adventure in itself. The main activity of the day was a visit to a local beach, known as Hodges beach or Calibishie Cove. The beach was located at the base of the cliff where we had been staying. A narrow overgrown path led down to the beach. I couldn't wait to see what it was like!
