@GrandadIsAnOldManمنذ 11 سنواتYou are welcome, good luck with your project.

@GrandadIsAnOldManمنذ 11 سنواتRight Krzystoph, I don't think it is a good idea but I can think of two options. 1. Have both the rubber band and the string from the mouse trap wrapped id="hidden1" class="buttons"> round the axle at the same time, but one on the left and one on the right with a barrier between them to stop them overlapping and run both at the same time. You would need very good grip from the wheels or it would just wheelspin and go nowhere. 2. Have some sort of freewheeling ratchet effect to use one first and then the other is triggered. ....وسعت

@meghpandhi6600منذ 11 سنواتAdd a spoiler to keep the back wheels down so there is more traction.
@
@meghpandhi6600منذ 11 سنواتOk. I am doing this project at school and do you think I should add a spoiler?
@
@Shunpyمنذ 10 سنواتGreat video, this is something that i can do without spending money to buy new materials , Thanks GrandadIsAnOldMan :)
@
@GrandadIsAnOldManمنذ 11 سنواتIn option 2 the release of the mousetrap could be used to then trigger the release of the rubberbands which could then pull the ratchet that was freewheeling. id="hidden2" class="buttons"> This seems over complicated but have a look at the operation of "pull back" toy cars. A possible third option I have seen videos where two mousetraps are used. When the first one finishes it releases the second one. ....وسعت

@meghpandhi6600منذ 11 سنواتYeah I used rubber bands for another project the mousetrap vehicle. Thank you for your advise.

@krzsimmons16منذ 11 سنواتWays besides putting the bands as the string and in the front to push the lever arm down faster
@
@GrandadIsAnOldManمنذ 11 سنواتHi Megh. I think you are joking :-) A spoiler would only add traction if the car was moving forwards fast enough for air to push down on it. It would not stop the wheels spinning at the start.
@
@GrandadIsAnOldManمنذ 11 سنواتIt might look good, but I don't think it would help. The extra weight over the back wheels might help a bit, but a spoiler is designed to help cars id="hidden4" class="buttons"> stick to the road at high speeds so I wouldn't add one myself. Making the wheels grip would be more help. Have a look at some of my other Rubber Band Cars to see what different methods I use to add grip. The quickest and easiest way is to cut strips from a balloon or a rubber glove and stretch them round the outside of the wheel. ....وسعت

@krzsimmons16منذ 11 سنواتSo I have been watching your videos but I am having some difficulties in thinking how to do my thought. So in science, we have to make an ultimate Mousetrap id="hidden5" class="buttons"> car and I'm thinking of putting rubberbands on the axles to make it faster, but then I thought it probably wouldn't work without adding two more axles. Is there any way you can think of that only requires 3 or less axles for that? ....وسعت
@
@GrandadIsAnOldManمنذ 11 سنواتI think you have put your comments against the wrong video Krzystoph. Are you trying to combine a mousetrap car with a rubber band powered car? I would id="hidden6" class="buttons"> expect that most school projects would not allow that, but I may be wrong. ....وسعت
@
@krzsimmons16منذ 11 سنواتYes, I am. My teacher approved of my idea as she said the same problem I was thinking may occur
