New Trick for Suspended Big Bass

In this vlog, I learn a new trick and technique while fishing for largemouth bass that are suspended and I show you how to rig the lure like I did. While on lake Conroe Texas, home of the 2017 bassmaster classic, I was getting photos and videos of fishing for bass with topwater lures, and fishing around floating boat docks. I was having trouble getting bites on a weightless worm and a jig so I tied on a new hook that I hadn't tried before and put a white zoom super fluke on it. My first cast I had a largemouth bass hit my bait in the same spot I was just fishing the other baits! A few minutes later, I hooked into a big bass on the same lure. These bass were suspended around the floating boat docks and were fat from chasing shad. The way that this hook is wighted creates the perfect action for a fluke and senko to naturally fall and trigger suspended big bass to bite. This is going to be a great technique for bass fishing in the fall months when they are chasing shad and schooling around cover or in open water.
