Workshop Basics Part A

In all workshops worldwide, hand tools are the basic steps to help a craftsman in producing the final product. Simple in applications, yet the usage of these humble tools and techniques define the capability and the cleverness of the craftsman. There are various metal working tools and techniques that allow the craftsman to mark, cut, file, drill, etc. Metal working is a very important manufacturing operation. Almost all the objects that we use in our day to day life are man-made, engineered parts. These objects go through complex engineering processes, starting from a raw material to finished product. Small individual parts derived through various manufacturing operations are then assembled to a final product ranging from something as small as a spoon to a spaceship. There are many processes that aid in manufacturing these individual components.
