Sewing, Scrapbooking, Journals, Organizing -- What is it that you love to do? Today we'll declutter items not needed or not loved that are part of our hobby - but don't stop that hobby all together. Hobbies are great and I think they are an important part of one's overall happiness. No matter what you like to do for fun chances are you might have a few things that you don't or won't use that are cluttering up the fun stuff. "Make room for what you love." I breastfeed, cloth diaper, practice elimination communication (as a way to not clean poop), and shop at Dollar Tree a little too often. I think living with less is the best way to feel like you have more; to feed your soul; to more easily seek deeper meaning in life; to be happier. See how that conflicts with Dollar Tree -- it's complicated people. I believe a clear countertop can lead to a clear mind -- really. I have a love hate relationship with my naturally curly hair. I used to hate crafting and had more fails than wins, but I've found a way to enjoy it and look forward to making things with my hands. I'm a former public school teacher who is considering homeschooling -- don't tell my colleagues. I believe children should experience education, not simply "get" one. I sometimes struggle to find my purpose. I forget to enjoy the journey and rather focus on the outcome. I believe you can better yourself and strengthen your mind and I want to share my process, experiences, and thoughts as a way to continue to grow. I seek deeper meaning (but dang -- sometimes I need a break from that too and just want to watch Nacho Libre and have a good laugh) and conversation but don't have people to converse with -- so join me, will you? @AquaBloomStudioمنذ 8 سنوات So true that hobbies can clutter our houses. Before Youtube I was a minimalist because I didn't have $ to spend and I didn't know how to craft. id="hidden2" class="buttons"> Because of YouTube and social media I see myself developing so many hobbies and over 6 years I have accumulated so much stuffs and I have to admit it is so time consuming to craft and clean up the mess. I need to just have a hobby where I don't have to accumulate stuffs like running, exercising, and dancing. Something that doesn't requires me to buy physical things to use and store. I have been learning about minimalist living and trimming down a bit on my hobbies. Thanks for sharing with us your thought. ....وسعت 4

@cheyennesutton2055منذ 4 سنوات Hi. I enjoy my hobbies. I am actually decluttering, sorting, purging, and organizing my entire apartment, so that I can breathe and get back to making id="hidden3" class="buttons"> things. I am learning to quilt, and I make beaded jewelry. I love scrapbooking and photography; I have about 2,000 photos to sort through.
Staying organized is a process, but I'm good at it. Thanks to Clutterbug, I learned that I am a bee for most areas, but I am a cricket when it comes to my kitchen and bathroom. I like to see my things in the other areas of my home, but I want them to be pretty and organized into micro categories.
    Thanks for your video!

@balgrantango460منذ 6 سنوات I'm 70 and throughout my life, I have tried every hobby or craft or art or musical instrument that appealed to me and I never worried about the stuff id="hidden4" class="buttons"> that went with it. Books are a given. Everyone should keep books around so they can keep reading and learning. Stories are vital to human existence. I agree that we have to keep our homes organized and free of clutter, but I don't think we should worry about the supplies we need to explore or enjoy hobbies, even if we're not using them at this very moment. Hobbies come and go. A few years ago I took up tapestry weaving and even though I haven't made anything in a while, I have no intention of giving up my mountains of thread and wool because I love that hobby.and I love seeing the stuff that goes with it. Hobbies that require creativity sometimes have to wait for a good idea to come along. And sometimes we have to wait for enough time to get to our hobby. A music composer doesn't throw out the piano and all the music just because they're going through a dry spell, or they're busy with something else.. Artistic clutter can also be inspiring. ....وسعت 1

@ladybugcarrieمنذ 8 سنوات During the baby stages till about 10 I was into fabric painting clothing for my kids and also had a lil business selling painted onesies, bibs and sweatshirts. id="hidden5" class="buttons"> Also dabbled in wreath making and fabric covered photo albums, the big rage late 80's into early 90's. My husbAnd built me a craft table in the basement with shelves above. It stored my supplies and I did not have to mess the house up or worry about cleaning my project up off the kitchen table especially if I was in middle of it. I loved it. My crafting has changed over the years so I made sure when I was getting into a totally different craft I would purge and it always seemed to keep this in order. ....وسعت

@megan2176منذ 8 سنوات I love sewing, though I'm not very good, but I love making stuffies for my kids, and really want to get into making dresses and "circle skirts" id="hidden6" class="buttons"> for my daughter. I save old clothes and fabric, and have several stashes around the house that have gotten out of control. Funny, I think my hobby supplies (fabric) are actually keeping me from my hobby because I know I have to deal with them before I start my next project. Crazy cycle, I need to break it! Thanks for the inspiration! :) ....وسعت 2

@drc4168قبل 11 أشهر we live in a culture of monetizing hobbies and hustle culture - been sewing or knitting for 1 month? OPEN ETSY SHOP. Taken up painting classes last week? id="hidden12" class="buttons"> SELL YOUR ART ONLINE. Absolutely tragic. I sew (badly) and read a ton of books, and cook pretty well, and bake alright. I will never ever dream of monetizing any of that, it's hard enough gifting my efforts to friends, neighbours and family members lol! :) ....وسعت
