Drive Axles / VW CV Joint Packing - ROTTEN OLD 1956 Chop Top Oval VW Beetle - 50

Axles! CV Joints! OMG! This has been tough to gather the correct Porsche 944 rear axles for this 1956 Volkswagen Beetle Chop Top. I found one auto parts place in town that had 2 axles in stock, but when I got them home one of them was missing the important mounting hardware! How am I supposed to bolt in my CV joints without CV joint bolts? I got some moly grease and spent some time CV joint grease packing then mounting my new Porsche 944 rear axles on my VW Beetle. This 1956 VW Beetle I received after it spent over 10 years out in the weather after being completely submerged in sea water by Hurricane Ivan back in 2004. This car was almost completely destroyed. If you've followed the ROTTEN OLD 1956 Chop Top Oval VW Beetle series you will have seen just how bad this car was when I began this VW Beetle restoration project.
