Here is a 1958 Buick Limited convertible. This is a very rare car all totally original. Is currently in the Tune Up Shop in Costa Mesa California for some minor repairs. We are making the throttle activated starter switch functional and overhauling the numbers matching carburetor. It will be perfect when we are finished. Directly following our repair it will be in the Balboa Island Parade.

@ZZZZ-wz4ueمنذ 10 سنواتYes the bean pod like cars of styling in colors of your choice today of either black, silver or white, is a complete and opposite departure from this era id="hidden13" class="buttons"> of form & function. To appreciate this era and truly appreciate this car is to fully understand it as an art form of craftsmanship. Excessive . compared to what and in what measure? This car is in this day and age of monolithic monotones, for today an almost incomprehensible manifestation of creative unique possibilities of open minded styling and function should be viewed and appreciated as such. ....وسعت2

@MrDBarchمنذ 5 سنواتyah, this one IS purty indeed! wow. 1958 and 1959 were VERY good years for buick. they were doing a LOT of future prototypes in those two years and used id="hidden26" class="buttons"> much of those designs into production models, ths one especially. The Buick Y 1938 driven by harley earl, and then he drove the 1959 torpedo prototype buick, that silver one, the ONLY one that exists in 1959. Although, I think the whitewall tires are incorrect to factory. I THINK, may be wrong,m but pretty sure that the widewalls were used on models before 1960, even the 1959 silver torpedo prototype that we all know about has the wide wall whites. this model here has black between the rim and the white wall, and i don't think they were put out by the factory that way . it MAY have been an option, or it MAY have been tires OF THE PERIOD that could be pout ON the car, but right out of the factory im pretty sure the white walls were wider, and showed no black between them and the rim. someone correct me if im wrong, cus if i am, i want to know!!! cheers ....وسعت
