133 Piece Segmented Bowl // Wood Turning

I made this bowl from purple heart wood, walnut and finished it with a tongue oil finish. The inspiration of this bowl came from Kyle Toth. He is one of my favorite youtube woodworkers. I started out by milling and cutting each piece into an octagon. I used pipe clamps to glue up the ring and stacked it on my 10" mini lathe. The rest of the turning took about a day and it was lots of fun to make! Music:"Captain Hook" - A hard hitting organic hip hop instrumental.
