So what is LANAP and who needs it? About 75% of the 35 and older population has some form of gum disease, whether that be gingivitis (little bit of bleeding when you brush and floss) or periodontitis (gum infection). There are many ways to treat gum infections, with the most common being routine cleanings by a licensed hygienist. But what happens when you have a severe gum infection? At this stage, cleanings are only going to get the top of the infection. That's where our FDA-approved LANAP laser, called the MVP Periolase, comes in! Not only is this laser proven to get rid of the infection, but it can also regrow bone that was lost due to the infection - with no stitches and no pain!
