@elekslingar92583 years ago I installed the listed mods. Everything works perfectly. The performance hit was not that big on rx 580 8G & r5 2600x at ultra settings it still keeps 60 fps with some dips to the 50-s. The game looks amazing. Thanks for the video. :D ... 1

Optimization wizardry was always much more appealing to me than mere mod hoarding on high-end GPU's. ... 4

Honestly I still think this game is unbeatable compared to many other AAA games out there. Love to see what they do with Elder Scrolls 6. And can they compete graphics wise with what modders have done with Skyrim! ... 15

I'm looking to give Skyrim another play through since I upgraded my pc but I don't want to dump a shit load of mods into it. Do you or anyone else recommend any graphical mods that do like a full overhaul to the game instead of very specific mods like you have mentioned? I have a similar setup as your too so performance won't be an issue. i7 8700 / GTX 1080TI / 2TB SSD / 16GB DDR4. I'm looking for the vanilla expirence but would like to atleast make the graphics look more present than past. Only other mods I plan on using is sky ui and the fan made patch ...

@falcoman994 years ago Wonderful little mod list. The one thing you should consider including is the textures/meshes of NPC faces. There are lots of great ones. Triple-A games such as Assassins creed odyssey have pretty bad textures but are masked by two elements, Good lighting (which you have) and high res faces and bodies. And to all of the people asking if you can run it or not. If you have 4 GB of VRAM maybe try a more performance-friendly ENB like Re-Engaged, it looks amazing. If you have 6 GB of VRAM you should be fine :). If you have less than 4 GB of VRAM then try it and see how it runs. If you can't get a good weather mod that changes lighting effects a bit like Vivid weathers and if that's still too much then I'm sorry for your potato.

@wythore4 years ago I installed everything and everything works fine, except that there's no shadows in the exterior, only indoors or in caves. This makes the game look weird and every character/NPC be as pale faced as snow. Anyone knows why? ... 3

I would love a mod pack that enhances the game but stays true to the original feel.

@DanielSmith_193 years ago So this looks like exactly the modlist I needed. I tried the 40 mod one by Ultimate Immersion and I guess it worked to an extent. Ultimate Immersion put out some installation guides for those modlists. He has three. Neither one of them had all the mods in that I had downloaded as per recommendation by the modlist on their website. I think I might have gotten some dependencies wrong, however the only thing Vortex warned me about was RS Children being dependent on Immersive citizens or something. But I had an issue where in the game the grass in the distance had no texture and only loaded or rendered when I got closer to it. I'll try this list, I'm very excited. Are there any dependencies that I need to be aware of? If there's an installation guide I would really appreciate that as well.
Also, some mods like Majestic Mountains and Amidianborn book of Silence have more than one downloadable file. How do I know what to get or do I just download all of the available main files? ... 1
