Will Vance explains some cool new stuff on tap from Lunati Cams like the X-Beam Connecting Rod for lightweight or boosted applications. Both incorporate ARP2000 rod bolts. The lightweight is good up to 850hp naturally aspirated. The X-Beam is affordable and incorporates the best of an I-Beam and H-Beam — strength and reduced weight — in one rod. Targeted toward the boosted LS/LT market to start with, the line will expand to include all platforms. Gen-III Hemi engine swaps are now becoming almost as popular as an LS swap, so Lunati has a cam to answer that question. The Stage 1 is a drop-in deal with a phaser kit but no other necessary changes. Meanwhile, the Stage 2 includes springs as well. Customers are now encouraged to call Lunati directly to buy their next cam — no longer do you have to go through its dealer network. Check out Lunatipower.com to see what they can do for you.
