A psychologist is consulted and they either declare someone competent and able to make their own decisions or not. I can understand a conservatorsjip for a short period surrounding a mental breakdown, but Britney’s has been in effect since 2008. That’s insane. GIVE THE LADY A CHANCE. Those “issues” were mental and physical exhaustion due to being overworked to such an extreme that her passion for her art was compromised just to bring in more bacon to her vampire father! And when she pushed back, reacting in an entirely NORMAL rebellious manner, completely indicative of any young person who is being forced and steered to have to do someone else’s bidding, with zero control over her own actions… they trapped her, shut her up, made her look like she can’t function, so they could control her every move as if she were just a commodity and not a human being!
