Maranaceae family

The marantaceae family contains many genuses (31 according to google) and species. Hailing from South America, these plants often times sport dramatically patterned leaves that we adore. They are more famously known as prayer plant, but people often times mix up the genuses. In this tour video, I dissect 4 of the most common genus, namely the calathea, maranta, ctenanthe, and stromanthe. I insert some care tips and call out some of the physical characteristics of each genus.
