I decided not to include the 3D games (Super Mario 64, Super Mario Sunshine, Super Mario Galaxy 1 & 2, and Super Mario 3D Land) since most of those do not have a defining overworld theme, so I just figured to make this video about the side-scrolling ones. The real Super Mario Bros. 2 (The Lost Levels everywhere else) has the exact same theme as the first game does, so it would be redundant to include it twice. I'm aware that the overworld theme incIuded for Super Mario Bros. 3 isn't the first one that plays in the actual game, but I included it anyway because it fits the "lively overworld" trend more, not to mention, it's the one I like more. I also decided not to include Wario Land: Super Mario Land 3 since that one belongs more to the Wario Land series rather than the Super Mario series, since Wario Land II follows it and Mario isn't playable. Also because the overworld music for that game doesn't really fit in with the other themes in this video. Yoshi's Island, however, bears the "Super Mario" name in a non-subtitle form and Mario is also playable in that game too, so I included it even though Yoshi has a seperate series of his own (i.e. Yoshi's Story).
