Beyond being cute, this red wolf pups born on April 19, 2018 represents the Wolf Conservation Center's active participation to save a species from the brink of extinction. The Wolf Conservation Center (WCC), is a 501c3 non-profit organization in South Salem, NY. The WCC is one of a network of facilities participating in the Red Wolf Species Survival Plan - a national initiative whose primary purpose is to support the reestablishment of red wolves in the wild through captive breeding, public education, and research.
