I wanted to show some of the exercises that I do to keep myself in shape to give massages. Giving massages is not as easy as people think. You must build your strength slowly & steadily. Massage therapist have a career span of about 6-7 years if they don’t take care of themselves. It is difficult on our bodies so it’s important to do cardio & strength training. Do what works for you just do something! You can work out at home or at the gym. You can start slow with 2 sets of 10 & increase to 3 of 15. It is best to do more reps than more weight (prevents injuries). Please ask your doctor if you are cleared to exercise & do weight training.
