Our very first show for the first-ever digital edition of #LakmeFashionWeek is here! Presenting to you 'Ruhaaniyat' by Manish Mahotra that celebrates the occasion called 'Life', and supports women Chikankari artists from the Mijwan Welfare Society. For the last 10 years, Manish Malhotra has been working with the Mijwan Welfare Society to revive and promote the traditional craft of Chikankari. The collection, which officially opens the first-ever digital edition of #LFW, and consists of exquisite chikankari, is not only a tribute to the diverse heritage of our Indian craftsman but also depicts the story of people, their beliefs, their sentiments. We encourage you to do your bit by supporting the women artisans, and donating to the Mijwan Foundation.
