Hello Friends!
This week I get about half-way through sewing some regency short stays. I go over the channels and cording process and get them ready to sew together and bind! Also, there's some fun little chats about CoCoVid and also about the Podcast that Morgan and I did and a little secret if you know how to use the internet! *wink*
Regency short stays were a short-lived garment that came between the conical shape of the 18th century stays, but before the Victorian Corset was invented. They are fairly straight in shape and are mostly to give you smooth lines and support the bust underneath all of those sheer dresses. The bust point during regency was pretty high compared with modern garments and are the epitome of "lift and separate"!
I hope you all enjoy!
