Manchurian (Chicken/Prawn/Fish/Mutton/Vegetables/Paneer) generally consisting of a variety of meats or paneer with vegetables in a spicy brown sauce. It is basically a creation of Chinese restaurants in India, and bears little resemblance to traditional Manchu cuisine or Chinese cuisine. It is said to have been invented in 1975 by Nelson Wang; Wang described his invention process as starting from the basic ingredients of an Indian dish, namely chopped garlic, ginger, and green chilis, but next, instead of adding garam masala, he put in soy sauce instead, followed by cornstarch and the chicken itself. A popular vegetarian variant replaces chicken with cauliflower, and is commonly known as gobi manchurian. Other vegetarian variants include mushroom, baby corn, veggie ball Manchurian etc., INGREDIENTS : Fish fry : Fish pieces - 1/2 kg Corn flour - 1 Table spoon Maida Flour - 1 Table spoon Ginger garlic paste - 1 tea spoon Chilli powder - 1 tea spoon Soy sauce - 1 table spoon Salt - As needed Manchurian Fried fish pieces Onion - 1 Capsicum - 1 Red chilli - 2 Tomato sauce - 3 table spoon Soy sauce - 1 table spoon Salt & Oil - As needed Making of fish Manchurian 1. Take a cleaned fish in a bowl 2. Add corn flour, maida, salt, Red chilli powder, ginger garlic paste, soy sauce and salt. 3. Mix it all together and marinate it 20 minutes 4. Heat a fry pan and add some oil, shallow fry the fish pieces with low flame. Then take out and keep it in a bowl. 5. Now keep the remaining oil and add diced onion and ginger garlic paste. Saute until smell goes off. 6. Then add capsicum, red chilli and saute it few minutes and add salt into it. Now add chilli powder. Stir fry. 7. Now add tomato sauce, soy sauce and little water. 8.
