Camels Capers Enduro 2019

This event was pulled together in a short amount of time to give members an opportunity to get racing after Sea Lake was cancelled this year. A few local property owners along with the Sea Lake Club put together a great little event Camel's Capers Enduro Starting with a great guy turning some steak on the BBQ at 8am for us, we then watched racers take on 4x 30km laps for the event. Teams had some fast straights, sandy soil & some tight turns through some scrub. Spectating points were limited but we were able to set up on 3 different points throughout the day which we could view teams approaching the hill & though there was a caution it became quicker each lap. After that we headed down to watch from the Quarry where we could watch competitors hit some jumps, have a quick burst down the sandy straight & see them disappear into the scrub as they headed back to the finish line. Definitely a great way to spend Sunday & well done to our friends Ratchet Racing for bringing home another trophy in their class!
