Pesarattu is crispy crepes made from ground whole mung lentils batter. These healthy crepes are a popular breakfast recipe from Andhra Pradesh. Pesarattu, an Instant Dosa prepared with protein-rich green moong dal instead of rice and urad dal, is even healthier and easier to prepare. You can call them a moong dal crepe, cheela. There's no need for fermentation. It makes a great option for a vegan. Moong dal dosa is also termed as 'Pesara Dosa' or 'Pesarattu' in Telegu. 'Pesara' stands for moong dal and 'Attu' stands for dosa.
