PRESS NOTE ON “PASSING OUT PARADE” OF SCTPC’s – 2020 BATCH. Today i.e., on 07.10.2020 “Dikshant Parade” (Passing Out Parade) of SCTPCs (Stipendiary Cadet Trainee Police Constables, Civil-Men) was held at City Armed Reserve Parade Grounds, Petlaburj, Hyderabad from 08.00 to 09.00 hrs for which event Sri Mohammed Mahmood Ali, Minister for Home, Prisons & Fire Services, Telangana State was the Chief Guest and Sri M.Mahendar Reddy, IPS, Director General of Police, Telangana State was the Guest of Honour. The Government of Telangana State has given notification for massive recruitment for police constabulary officers of 16,925 to meet the expectations of the citizens on police and thereby to achieve the goal of “Bangaru Telangana” of the Telangana Government. At present 9,143 Police constabulary officers from different police units were trained at (28) training centres located in Telangana State since 17.01.2020. In Hyderabad City Police Commissionerate, (901) Police constabulary officers were trained at (4) training centre’s located at Petlaburj (202), Chelapura (263), Goshamahal (234) and Begumpet (202). In today’s “Passing Out Parade”, (465) Cadets recruited in Medak, Karimnagar and Khammam Districts and trained at City Police Training Centre, Petlaburj (202) & Metro Barrack Learning Centre (MBLC), Chelapura, Hyderabad (263) have taken part after successful completion of their (9) Months Basic Induction Training. Out of the above (465) cadets, (111) are Engineering Graduates, (88) are Post Graduates, (210) are Graduates and (56) are with intermediate qualification. During their (9) months of Basic Induction Training, cadets were trained in Criminal Major Acts, Special & Local Laws, Crime & Investigation, Intelligence & Internal Security, Forensic Science & Forensic Medicine, Police Administration & Documentation and Personality Development also. Apart from the Indoor subjects, cadets were trained in outdoor events such as Weapon Tactics & Firing, Un-Armed Combat, Squad Drill, Lathi Drill, Arms Drill, Traffic Drill, Field Craft, Yoga and Meditation. Cadets were also trained in gaining knowledge in Life Skills, Health & Hygiene by engaging eminent and experienced faculty members, so as to effectively perform their duties in critical situations such as the Covid-19 Pandemic. They were also imparted special training on Self Defense Tactics such as dealing with violent mob, arresting suspects who are in possession of fire arms / dangerous objects etc., All the cadets gained very good knowledge in all the latest online applications of Telangana State Police viz., TS Cop, CCTNS, E-Cops, Hawk Eye, Investigation Support Centre (ISC), Facial Recognition Service (FRS), Finger Prints Devices (FPD), Tech Datum.net etc., so as to discharge their core duties very efficiently and effectively. Cadets were also trained to accept any field challenges entrusted to them and also in delivering uniform service to the citizens. The Chief Guest of the function Janab Mohammed Mahmood Ali, Minister for Home, Prisons & Fire Services, Telangana State has inspected the Dikshant Parade, took the general salute from the parade and presented the mementos to the cadets who have excelled performance in Indoor subjects, Outdoor events, Firing and to the all rounder’s of both the training centres (List enclosed). The guest of honour Sri M.Mahendar Reddy, IPS Director General of Police, Telangana State addressed the cadets. The Passing out Parade function is presided over by Sri Anjani Kumar, IPS, Commissioner of Police, Hyderabad City. The spectacular event of Passing Out Parade of SCTPCs was held under the guidance of Sri D.S.Chauhan, IPS, Addl Commissioner of Police, L&O, FAC, CAR, HQs, Hyderabad City who is the overall in charge of all the (4) Police Training Centre’s of Hyderabad City.
