Sorry we weren’t able to connect with for sometime as there were some urgent work that we had to take care of and we are glad to be back with you all and share with you all the good things in Singapore as well as yummy recipes.Please do subscribe, like and share the video and comment and give us some feedback. Recipe of Dhaba Style chicken curry: Ingredients: 1) Chicken (Medium cuts): 1 kg 2) Potatoes (Optional): 1/2 kg cut into 2-3 pieces and marinated in Salt and 3) Turmeric: 2 teaspoons 4) Onions: 3 Medium sized. Roughly Chopped. 5) Tomatoes: 1 big sized. Chopped. 6) Fried Onions: 4 tablespoons 7) Chopped Coriander: As required. 8) Green Chillies: to taste 9) Kashmiri Red Chilli pwd: to taste 10) Black Pepper: 1/2 teaspoon 11) Garam Masala: 1/2 teaspoon 12) Meat Masala: 1 teaspoon 13) Beaten Yoghurt: 4 tablespoons 14) Ginger Garlic paste: 2 heaped tablespoons 15) Salt: to taste 16) Whole Garam Masala: 1 small bay leaf, Cinnamon (1 inch piece), Cloves (3-4) and Green Cardamom (2-3) 17) Coriander pwd: 1 teaspoon 18) Cumin pwd: 1.5 teaspoon 19) Tomato and Chilli Ketchup: 2 tablespoons 20) Kasuri Methi: 1 teaspoon (Crushed) 21) Mustard oil: as needed Marination: 1) Add the yoghurt, 1 teaspoon turmeric pwd, 1/2 teaspoon black pepper pwd, 1 teaspoon coriander pwd, 1.5 teaspoon cumin pwd and salt to taste. 2) Mix well and keep aside for minimum 1.5 hours. Procedure: 1) In a pan heat 1 tablespoon mustard oil and fry the potatoes till they are golden brown from outside. (Optional step. Only when using potatoes) 2) Add 2 tablespoons oil to the same pan and add the whole garam masala. 3) When aromatic, ad chopped onions and fry till golden brown. 4) Add red chilli pwd and 1/2 teaspoon turmeric pwd and mix well. 5) Add a bit of water and sauté for a minute 6) Add the chopped tomatoes and sauté while gently mashing and mixing till the onion and tomatoes are mixed well. 7) Add the marinated chicken. Mix well and sauté for 7-8 mins open medium heat. 8) Add the fried potatoes. Mix well. (Optional step. Only when using potatoes) 9) Add the fried onions, meat masala and garam masala. Mix well. 10) Add the tomato sauce and mix well 11) Close the lid and cook till chicken is tender. 12) Check if potatoes are cooked. (Optional step. Only when using potatoes) 13) If not, remove and put in pressure cooker for 1 whistle. (Optional step. Only when using potatoes) 14) Remove from pressure cooker and mix with the chicken again. (Optional step. Only when using potatoes) 15) Crush and add the Kasuri Methi and chopped fresh coriander. 16) Mix well and serve hot.
