Ingredients:
• 1 Cup jaggery
• 1 Cup roasted sesame seeds
• 1 Cup roasted peanuts
• 1 Cup roasted desiccated coconut
• 3 to 4 Cardamom
• Ghee
Method:
• Grind roasted sesame seeds
• Grind roasted peanuts and cardamom seeds and keep aside
• Heat up a pan on medium heat and add jaggery
• Mix well and let the jaggery melt well and switch off the stove
• In this add 1 Tsp of Ghee and mix well
• Add roasted sesame seeds powder, peanut powder & desiccated coconut and quickly mix
• Mix well when the mixture is hot
• Take a steel plate and spread some ghee on it
• Transfer the mixture into the dish when hot and spread it well
• Let the mixture cool down a little and cut it into pieces
• Now let it cool completely. Vadi is ready to be served for the programme.
